The City of Pelham is providing FREE prescription drug discount cards to Pelham residents. The cards are available through a program sponsored by the National League of Cities. The discount card program is administered by CVS Caremark, with about 25 pharmacies around the city participating, along with over 59,000 pharmacies across the United States.

These discount cards are not a form of insurance, and there are no restrictions based on existing health coverage. All ages and income levels are eligible to receive this discount, with average savings of 20 percent off the retail price of commonly prescribed drugs. The card can be used whenever prescriptions are not covered by insurance.
To get a card, stop by one of the participating pharmacies or Pelham City Hall, the Pelham Library, Pelham Senior Center or Pelham Municipal Court. There are no enrollment forms and no membership fees.
To find out more you can call 1-888-620-1749 or visit the CVS Caremark website.
