Tax Credit May Be Extended

No word yet on an extension of the $8000 First Time Home Buyer tax credit. Unless Congress acts, the current credit will expire December 1st. So you must CLOSE no later than November 30th to qualify. Most experts tell me that we will get an extension in some form or other. It may even be better. Remember the sad folks who hurried to get closed before the old one expired only to discover that the current one did not require a pay back if the home is lived in for at least three years. I will keep everyone informed as soon as I know something to hang your hat on.
