The Chef Next Door Huntsville Al

I hired Margaret to come into my home last night for our first annual @ Homes Realty Group end of the year party. I’m so appreciative of my agents and wanted to do something really special for them. I wanted to spoil myself a bit too, lol.

From the moment I called The Chef Next Door, I knew I was going to be in for a big treat. There were 10 guests and I thought planning the menu would be difficult. Far from it! Chef Margaret made some wonderful suggestions. I told her to surprise me with a menu. It was incredible.

Our first course began with a choice of either the Roasted Butternut Squash Salad, or the Berries and Blue Salad. It was almost an even split on our choices. I had the Berries and Blue Salad. It was to die for.

Our second course started with 3 choices: Southern Shrimp and Grits, Blue Cheese Filet Mignon or a Pan Fried Chicken Breast with a Sherry Bechamel Cream Sauce. We all had a hard time choosing. In the end, we all wanted the Southern Shrimp and grits, so she served that to us as a small Tapas to start. The Shrimp and Grits was amazing!

I chose the Filet as my main course. 6 of us had the Filet and we all think it was the BEST Filet any of us have ever tasted. Ever! It literally melted in my mouth. It was so tender....Chef Margaret knows how to cook a Filet! Those that chose the Chicken were raving about how delicious it was too.

Desert was a choice of Cinnamon Roll Bread Pudding or a Pumpkin Cheesecake with Chantilly Cream and Toffee Crunch. As luck would have it, my generous friend and Huntsville Realtor Bren Bertoldi and I shared both.

If you ever truly want to spoil yourself, give Chef Margaret from The Chef Next Door a call. Chef Margaret came into my home and served some of the best food we’ve all ever eaten.

Not only did she cook and serve us a 5 star, elegant dinner (along with my daughter Miranda!), but she DID ALL OF THE DISHES!!! I was in shock. Now THIS is living.
