Well we Baby Boomers have been the "egg in the snake" for purchases for years now. The older Boomers are finally 66 years old and the youngest in their late forties. As we age but still want to feel good and act young, many are looking into getting more fit. Bicycles are a wonderful way to do that. You can ride to the corner and back to begin with so it is not a big commitment in energy right at first. As you get to feeling better, and you will, ride a little farther.
Wonderful bikes are out there for cheap. For under $300 you can get a "bicycle-built-for-two" or a trike bike. For under a $100 you can get a Schwinn or something similar. For slightly more you can get a Schwinn with 7 speeds. (See www.Walmart.com) Or you may want to go see your local bike shop and keep the money in your community. It will be a little more that way but you may feel better doing it.
So fellow Boomers, join me out there. Select a bike that expresses your personality. We can have fun in the fresh air and sunshine and get some exercise too!
