Home Sale Activity in the Oak Mountain Area May 2008

Home sales in the Oak Mountain area ticked up slightly with 81 homes closing in the month of May - up from 100 in 78 in April and 75 in March.

This area which includes some property within the Hoover City limits and other in unincorporated Shelby County had an average salesprice of $327,205 with prices ranging from $149,000 for a Townhome in Meadowbrook to 1,171,000 for a 5 Bedroom, 5.5 Bath home in Greystone Legacy. The median salesprice was $255,000. 20 closed sales were new construction and 16 were Condos/Townhomes. Currently there are 818 homes on the market which represents a 10.49 month supply.
