Huntsville Shakespeare on the Mountain

look in on a court where internal political problems, fueled by the malevolent Hotspur, interfere with the bacchanals of Prince Hal, the gregarious Sir John Falstaff, and their attendant ne'er-do-wells.

Despite his seeming irresponsibility, this turn of events spurs the young Hal closer to his eventual leadership. Both humorous and dramatic, the play provides an intriguing commentary on war (within the context of English history) and introduces one of the Bard's most enduring comic characters.
