I am currently in Austin TX, having attended an awesome Keller Williams 3 day intensive training event Called Mega Camp. This year's theme was "Shift". We all know regardless of what area you live in, the real estate market has shifted. This shift does not mean doom and gloom...it means things are different. There are many opportunities for first time home buyers, move-up seller/buyers, those who are selling to relocate as well as investors.
If you are waiting to buy, trying to time the market, you will miss your opportunity. The time is now! If you are in the market to buy or sell a home in the Birmingham or Shelby County, Alabama area, contact me so I can explain to you why.
If you are an agent and your broker is not giving you the education and tools you need to be effective in today's market, let's talk.

Hi Renee! I know you had a great time and learned lots......can't wait to hear about it.
Have a great day!
Ann - You're right on both counts. I am anxious to share hat i earned. Right now I am on information overload...tired and glad to be back home in Alabama!
If we could ever get the market to return to the time when owning a home was the American Dream and not a 2-year investment opportunity, people would realize that any time is a good time to buy a place to live in for the rest of their lives (like my parents and grandparents did).
Russel - you are right. I am working with a young 1st time buyer couple who want to buy a house wherethey can raise a family. They don't want to buy for the short term. I've not encountered 25 yr olds with this plan before now.
