Home Sale Activity in Vestavia Hills Alabama May 2008

Home sales in Vestavia were strong in the month of May 2008 with 60 homes closing. This was up from 46 in April, 36 in March and 33 in February. Twelve sales were in Liberty Park. The average salesprice was $389,078 with prices ranging from $79,000 for a 1 bedroom, 1 bath condo in Montreat to $975,000 for a 5 Bedroom, 4.5 Bath on the lake in Liberty Park. The average days on market for sold properties was 78.80. Currently there are 448 properties on the market in Vestavia which represents a 7.46 month supply (down from a 10.78 month supply last November).
