WARNING to People Who own Homes in Cabot AR

An article was released today in the Cabot Star Herald warning Cabot home owners of unlicensed solicitors trying to convince Cabot home owners to have street numbers painted on the curb due to a city ordinance. The mayor Eddie Joe Williams says that street numbers painted on the curb are not a city ordinance.

If you ever get a notice that you need this done to the curb of your home you are asked to call the city's public work department at 843-4819 and report who told you this.

Fliers have been posted to mailboxes informing people of the curb painting. If you see someone tampering or posting fliers to mailboxes please report it immediately to the number above or local authorities.

I hope that this might help some people and keep them from falling into a scheme. I will be back next week for more Cabot AR real estate info.
