I’ve been called an “obdurate” but I’m far from it.

During my cop years you just about name it and I have either seen it or been involved in it. After awhile death, murder, rape, robbery and all the other stuff in between becomes just an everyday part of your world. You grow cold hearted and oblivious to other peoples pain or suffering. Nothing could be further than the truth. Now for the meaning of (ab’door it) and if you haven’t guessed it by now it’s not easily moved to pity or sympathy. Most cops feel the pain but it is a job regardless of the suffering, pain or death. Sorry I’ll get off my soapbox. Have a great day
