CNNMONEY.COM PLACES FORT SMITH ARKANSAS #1

CNN has released a report on the top 25 cities for retirees to find affordable housing, and Fort Smith is first on the list. The report by CNN's Money Magazine also recommends Fort Smith to retirees for its Wild West History, as well as local lakes and parks. According to the CNNmoney.com article, Fort Smith's property taxes are FIVE TIMES LESS than the other cities highlighted in the report. In addition, the average price for homes sold in 2007 in the River Valley area was right under $130,000.
