I find myself doing what I said I would not do. When I was a police officer and met up with other law enforcement officers no matter where it was without fail we would talk shop. That is we would talk about what was going on in the business. It didn't make any difference if it was a State, county or municipality it was all the same. Each had it own thing going wrong and there was always room for improvement. Then without losing a beat we would get into the local person(s) who were the trouble makers and the fights, chases and wrecks we worked etc.
In real estate it's not much different; the subject matter has changed of course. We don't talk about blood and guts and that sort of thing but its shop talk all the same I'm drawn right into it and I love it.
I told myself I would not get into this sort of thing but I can't help it. I like hearing how other agents get listings, closing deals, what techniques they might use to get clients. You can get valuable information and maybe tweak some of what you're doing to get more clients. Have you obtained information that made you change the way you do business and has it worked for you? Man I love this job. Remember "It's a great day to buy or sell a home."
