I am 56 years old. And my kids are making fun of me!
Why - Because I am trying to do Face Book!
It all started because my son was on vacation and posted pictures of my precious granddaughter at the Beach that I wanted to see. So I answered his "call" to join Face Book.
Good Lord - how did I know all these kids wanted to be my friends? And then there were some of my friends and it just went on and on!!! I could not keep up with all of the emails - Good Gosh - All I wanted was to see Brantley playing in the water with her friends at the Beach!!
Ok so now I'm hooked!!! I mean I am having so much fun - the problem is I really don't have a clue what I am doing! And forget all of those "gifts" - I don't know how to receive them - how to send them or how to get rid of them - so please don't send me any Karmas, Flowers, Wishes or whatever...
And now they are posting pictures of me and making fun! (Hey at the Wedding Rehersal a year ago my feet hurt and that is why I had on my tennis shoes with my long skirt!) Leave me alone about my shoes!!
But the best thing about this is the photos - I love it! I am a Grandma and I love seeing the pictures of all of my kids and their friends kids - I love It!!!
So - bear with me - I am trying to Space Page - or - Face Book - or Space Book - or - whatever - just goes to prove you can teach an old dog new tricks!!!
And just maybe it will help my Real Estate Career!!!

Why not try linkedin? Its the adult version if you will of facebook or myspace. It only has professionals whereas the others are mostly unprofessional.
But making a presence everywhere is good.
Thanks Shane - I will check it out - but I am having fun keeping up with the kids my kids grew up with and seeing their families and accomplishments! And you are right it's all about a presence on the internet - and I do mean a positive presence!

Kath, The kids get the technology so much faster than we do. Kate's friends think it's ADORABLE that her mom has a facebook page- and they friend me. I'll be throwing a slushie at you.
