I really have nagged my husband through the years. He'd get up to go to work and from the hips up he'd be covered with so many clothes he couldn't possibly get cold. Gloves, hat, three layers of coats. BUT....from the hips down, he'd have on a single pair of bluejeans.

"Honey," I'd say, "Why don't you wear an overcoat? It would keep you warm all over...?"

He'd make some remark like, "Real men don't wear overcoats. Or Southern guys don't wear overcoats. Or why don't you just leave me alone!" Then he'd slam the door and leave.

Notice they all dress alike. Fashion is fashion throughout the years.

Fashion at this time must have been belted overcoats.

And in that car, they needed warmth!!

Hubby bought an overcoat last year!

But he hasn't worn it.
