Tree down for good on West Vine Street Searcy AR beside REALTOR office.

On June 28 2011, we got the picture of this house with a huge limb on it and in it. Here's the photo. And here's the blog.

Time rocked on. On Sept 22 we were having a meeting at the Searcy Board Of REALTORS office, which is across the street from this house, and the activity at the damaged house was distracting.

The attraction was the crew across the street preparing to down the tree.

Notice the lines on the tree and the BIG BIG saw that was soon to be used. The notch on the left side had not been enough to bring it down.

With that big saw working the watchers and helpers scattered.

The tree fell right where they wanted it to fall. I personally tried to measure how far I was from the tree just in case a mistake in calculation occurred. WOW! It made a loud thump and we all cheered!

And there's the reason for the damage to the house and the reason for taking a tree down. It had lots of decay inside. Those tree guys did a great job with a large audience of REALTORS watching.
