I can't believe I did that. Trying to be cheap just cost me a lot!!

I'm embarrassed that I did this.

But if you do embarrassing things from time to time I'm telling this just to make you feel better.

My printer needs a new cartridge. It is still printing but it's having to be shaken every now and then to stir up the ink.

Amazon.com is a great place to order.....so easy....so fast.....so efficient.

So I went there and discovered that I could buy a generic cartridge for just $18.99. Shipping would not be free but ran $8 or $10 and would take about 5 or 7 days to come. That's a lot cheaper than $77 for the REAL brand. That's really what I wanted to do. I would order it and I started the order.

Curiosity got the best of me. They said that if I wanted it really fast I could get it by Mondy, the 7th of June. I wondered what that would cost. I clicked on it and it would cost $33.90!

I'd never pay postage like that! Do they think I'm crazy or something? I shivered and placed the order for the cartridge.

The email came through verifying my order. Complete order was Cartridge $18.99 and postage was $33.90 for a total of $52.89!!

OMG!! What had I done!!! $33.90 for postage!!! I screamed but Amazon didn't hear. I tried to retrack but they were already working on my order. After all, it had to be here on Monday and today is Saturday.

So I decided to just make the best of it. The post office needs my money. I need a printer cartridge. I spent money probably as easily as the government spends money.

I just hope now that the generic cartridge works well! But I'm still SO ANGRY AT MYSELF. grrrrrrr.....
