It's almost the last chance to get to the Mining Camp Restaurant and Trading Post in Apache Junction before it closes on June 1 for the summer. This one of a kind establishment has been going strong since 1961. Located at the base of the Superstition Mountains this restaurant is fashioned like the old time mining cook shanty. The exterior is rough sawn ponderosa pine brought down from Payson Arizona. The menu is family style western dinners such as roast chicken and dressing, baked ham, prime rib, steaks and more. The restaurant will close June 1 and re-open November 1. Call 480-982-3181 for more information and reservations.
