I grew up in Wisconsin, spent 23 years of my life there. I experienced all sorts of weather 100% humidity in the summer, -30 or more windchill in the winter, ice storms, Tons of snow! Awesome thunderstorms!.

I now live in Arizona , and have for the past 24 years! My friends and family are envious in the winter. but in the summer they wonder why I put up with the heat, Monsoons, Scorpions, etc. So lately I have been wondering, which is worse?

Here are my thoughts, feel free to share yours with me as well.
WISCONSIN
At 30 below that wind blows through any and all clothing that I own, to walk 30 feet from my car to the grocery store door, my hands and face just burn, because they are so cold. Snow, Slush, Ice, salt stains on your clothes and shoes...SOAKERS!!! Remember those? Ice storms..Power out for up to a week or so when they hit...But the trees sure are pretty when they sparkle in the sun.
Summer is very nice, short, but very nice except for the high humidity, and the mosquitoes!
ARIZONA
115 is a bit uncomfortable, stay inside, or in a pool. Scorpions...Knock on wood I have never seen one in any residence that I have lived in since I moved here. Haboobs...Very cool looking, stay inside. The car is too hot! Get an auto start! I have had one in every vehicle I have owned since 1991. I can drive to an Ocean, a Mountain, A Desert, a Meadow , or a Foriegn Country within 5 hours. I haven't had to shovel sand of my driveway :)
Summing up in the battle of the temperature extremes.. I think I will go for Arizona... But I am eyeing other places :)
Thank you
