Farmers markets in demand

Local farmer
Farmers markets have traditionally been the venue for farmers to sell their produce directly to the local consumer.
Today, there has been a resurgence of farmers markets with a hungry public looking for fresh food directly from the producer without having been transported around the globe. These markets are dominated with smaller farmers often offering organic and pesticide free produce.
Often the cost of producing high quality foods is offset by eliminating the middle men. In Arizona participants are also exempt from sales tax.
You will also find locally made salsas and dip, jams, jellies, baked goods, arts and handcraft. You will find the Chandler Farmers every Thursday at Boston and Arizona Avenue at Dr. A.J. Chandler Parc,
