Great News! We LOST a Chandler AZ short sale listing today.

We have recently taken a referral listing in Chandler. The seller has a 1st and 2nd with a local credit union. Prior to listing with us he had petitioned the credit union for help. They said they couldn't help him. So he called his sister (a great Ahwatukee AZ realtor) for some short sale help. She referred him to us and we started the process.

We listed the property, procured a buyers contract from our EASY SELL PROGRAM and off the file went to the credit union to check out and process. Well today we received a call from our Seller wanting to cancel the short sale which we took as GREAT NEWS! Yes, it is great news that we lost this client. In just a few weeks of us pursuing the short sale and submitted his hardship to the credit union, the credit union decided to take a second look at working with him to stay in the house.

He received a pretty great deal too! Lowering his interest rate to 0% on both loans and lowering the years on the life of the loan substancially. For us, it's not always about closing a short sale, it's about helping the homeowner do what's right for their situation. We are not always big on loan modifications because most of them are smoke and mirrors, but this one seems pretty solid.
