I was at my son's school this morning helping his teacher prepare for "Earth Day" tomorrow. There are times when I love going to 1st Grade...I learn something new everytime I'm over at the school volunteering...it's almost as though I'm back in 1st Grade.
A little history of Earth Day....
Earth Day is an annual celebration of the environment in the United States. According to the State Department, U.S. Senator Gaylord Nelson of Wisconcin, proposed a nationwide teach-in on the environment that led to the first Earth Day in 1970. Now the celebration has become an international celebration.
