The Chandler Unified School District is located in the Southeastern part of the Phoenix metropolitan area. The Chandler School District focuses on reading, language and mathematics. Their performance is demonstrated by above average scores on state and national exams. Students from the Chandler district consistently score among the top in the state on college-entrance exams.

Because of the outstanding educational programs offered, almost all of the district schools have been recognized for excellence by organizations such as the Arizona Department of Education and the U.S. Department of Education.

Chandler is a rapidly growing city, and now consists of 23 elementary, three junior highs, one K-8 school, and three high schools.
