Foxglenn Park in Flagstaff Arizona

Foxglenn Park is a City of Flagstaff Regional Park on what many refer to as the "east side" but which is actually fairly central. It occupies over 28 acres of city-owned property and connects to the Flagstaff urban trail. It is near Sinagua High School and Knoles Elementary School, the Foxglenn, Elk Run, Fox Lair, Sinagua Heights and Country Club neighborhoods.

Facilities at Foxglenn Park include: Playground, 1 + ½ basketball court, 2 soccer fields, 1 youth baseball field, 1 youth softball field, 3 picnic ramadas, permanent restrooms, and 1 skate track. Reservations are generally required through the City Parks and Recreation Department.

Dear Sad Eastside Resident,
I agree with you completely (except the part about you ALL selling your homes soon -- if so, call me). Seriously, I see no reason for the city to treat one side of town differently from another on this issue. Indeed, if the newspaper report is correct, it makes no sense at all because the cost of the wayside horns is actually MORE than the cost of barriers to avoid horns at all. Of course, the report could be wrong or I misunderstood it. Regardless of cost, there are just four crossings, there are residents affected by the noise at all four crossings (and more every day with the Mt. Elden Foothills development), and it's not fair to treat some residents differently from others on this important issue.
