My husband, 'The Famous Shredder' is not only one of the best lead guitarists I've ever heard -- he's also a pretty darn good photographer.

Clayton grabbed these shots on the north side of Aha Macav Drive about halfway between the Avi Resort and Needles Highway, the route to Laughlin, NV -- about 5 miles west of Fort Mohave, AZ.

This is tribal land, owned by the Fort Mohave Indians. They often do 'controlled burns' on their land to safely remove dried sagebrush and mesquite trees that could create a fire hazard during our monsoon season and threaten the crops of alfalfa and cotton that they grow on this mostly agricultural land along the Colorado River.
Never knew anything 'dead' or 'dried out' could be this cool . . .
