In the News: Foreclosures and Foreclosure Assistance

Foreclosures and foreclosure preventionI recently had the pleasure of being interviewed by The Fountain Hills Times in regards to the increasing number of foreclosures in Fountain Hills. In a very lengthy interview, we discussed some of the reasons why foreclosures are on the rise and homeowners are falling behind on mortgage payments; options that are available for homeowners who are finding themselves faced with foreclosure; and how investors can go about purchasing foreclosures, distressed and bank owned properties. The interview resulted in three very different and very informative articles that were featured in the August 15, 2007 issue of The Fountain Hills Times.

The first article, Borrowers falling behind on mortgages, discusses some of the reasons for the increase in foreclosures as well as some of the changes that are taking place in the mortgage market.

Options exist to stop foreclosure, the second article, shares several options that homeowners may find helpful in preventing foreclosure and getting back on track financially. The tips offered in this article are also available on my foreclosure assistance website, along with additional information about the Arizona foreclosure process and preventing foreclosure.

The third article, Two viewpoints on housing inventory, discusses the current housing market in Fountain Hills as well as the potential for investors to benefit from distress sales including short sales and foreclosures.

The information provided in these articles applies not only to Fountain Hills, but to the entire Metro Phoenix area, and even the entire state of Arizona. Homeowners and investors throughout the state may find this information helpful.

Bonny that is great! I will have to check out those articles. I think I might have seen one recently in last weeks paper about the foreclosure crisis. Keep up the good work.

Skye - Do take a look at the articles. I have an extra copy of the paper if you missed it. I would be happy to drop it off to you.

Bonny,

It seems I can run ads in the Times and no one calls. If Barb writes an article and uses my name the phone starts ringing. Maybe she is the key to our business!

Bernie - There is a big difference between running an ad and being recognized and called upon for your professional opinion and expertise. Consumers recognize that.
