Short Sales in Arizona

So many times I hear agents and buyers complaining about the short sale process and in some cases avoiding the homes on the market that are short sales altogether. I am very hopeful that in 2010 we will see a change in the banking world and the real estate world to improve these transactions. After all...we all need to remember that there is a distressed family behind these short sales.

I am very excited that Wachovia, World Savings and Golden West continue to work to streamline their short sale process and provide "pre-approved Short Sales" into the Arizona Market. This will benefit all..the seller, the buyer, the agents, the banks.....etc. This streamline short sale process is reducing the time taken to close on a short sale from months to days! I am hopeful that Bank of America, Chase etc. will follow suite.
