There is a Town Dance on July 3 at the San Tan Elegante Conference & Reception Center. The music will be for the young at heart. The Ronnie Dye Band will be playing classic and modern country music.

Gilbert’s Old Fashion Fireworks will be July 4th at the Big Field Of Dreams with lots of fun activities for all.

Gilbert’s 90th Birthday Party on July 5 from 8-11 am will be at the Gilbert Rodeo Ground and include all knids of old fashioned fun such as greased pig, 3-legged, and wheel barrow races. And, of course, plenty of free cake and ice cream.

July 6 there will be a free birthday party at 7 pm at Town Hall. The event will include a birthday song for 90 year old residents and a visit by Governor Jan Brewer.
