If someone were to ask you which city in the Phoenix area had the most waterski waterfront lots, what would your answer be (before you read the title to this blog)? Better yet, can you name the subdivisions that have been built specifically for waterskiing. Playa del Rey has 34 waterfront homes on the waterski lake; however, this is not a tournament waterski lake. You'll have to go down the street to Crystal Point which has 20 waterski waterfront homes on lots that are approximately 1/2 acre in size. As of this writing there is one home for sale for $1.6 million in Crystal Point. The other waterski lake community is Santan Lakeside Estates in south Gilbert off of Riggs Rd. This secluded community features 1 acre lots and of the 20 lots, 5 homes have been built. Waterskiing has to be a passion to live in these tournament waterski communities because the monthly HOA fee alone is $550/month.
