I feel like it was yesterday that this new year started, however it’s already February, can you believe it? It seems to me that we started the new year with the right foot because we have been busier than we were by the end of 2011.
This month I will be completing my Tom Ferry Sales Power training and as it’s winding down, I feel really confident to say that I have learnt a lot from this course. I read a post yesterday that said something like “do not confuse Education with Intelligence” and though I agree with this, I must say that they go hand in hand.

The most important things I learnt from this training are:
- .. That having a great attitude and mindset is key. “Yourself” talk is directly related to your attitude and your actions, which equals your results.
- Tracking your business and setting up a 90 day plan for success. Many fun things are not planned, but when it comes to business, you have to have foundations.
- Having 8 to 10 ways to bring in leads. Knowing where your business comes from and working on that weekly is extremely important.
- Being relevant in today’s market with all the different social media tools. Need I say more? We all know what social media can do for a business if utilized in the right ways and consistently.
- Having the scripts and dialogues to go after expired listings and FSBO’s. You can’t be stuck on one thing and expect that to be effective forever. People, markets and everything around us changes constantly, so it’s time to explore new horizons and new ways of doing business and expired listings and FSBO’s are a good way to broaden your business.
I have really had an amazing time going to this class and I am really proud to be a part of Remax Professionals and also very grateful that they brought this awesome program to all of us. Here’s a little video we made to say thanks for always staying on top of things and promoting education! Cheers!
