The "snowbird" season has begun. Every year about this time a migration begins of approximately 30,000 people arriving to the Gold Canyon and Apache Junction Arizona, as well as some surrounding areas. As predictable as a migrating duck, these people arrive and enjoy all the beauty of the Superstition Mountains, the wonderful warm weather and seasonal activities. The local merchants enjoy a burst of additional business. Some businesses notice a particular spike in activities. Local restaurant owners report that "snowbirds love to go out for breakfast". Many of these "snowbirds" have homes in the local area, but in the hot summer months they migrate back to their northern homes, returning to their Arizona home in the fall and staying through spring to enjoy the weather, while the folks back home are shoveling snow and braving the cold.
If you are thinking you might like to have someplace to "get away to" from the snow, hail and cold in your local area, consider Arizona. People love it here. Now is a perfect time to consider buying a second home. There are a lot of choices and the prices are lower now. Call Bob and Carolin Benjamin at 480-201-3001 to help you with your Arizona real estate needs. We would love to help you.

My son loves Arizona and I look for him to move out that way one of these days if he can get his wife to go. How wonderful to have business boom through the winter months! Sounds like the snowbirds really know how to live!
Our snow birds are also arriving in Bradenton - Sarasota, Florida. I hope they bring their checkbook this year.
By the way, thanks for reading and commenting on Mortgage Fraud #1: Series Introduction and Foreclosure Rescue Scam
Nice ad and creative! I hope it generates some extra business for you both!
I am going to get our my snowbird costume and head out to Arizona. It has been getting down to freezing in New Hampshire and I am not sure I am ready for that white stuff.
"Snowbird" is such a cute term! As a kid growing up in northern California, we always had the "flat-landers" coming up for the summer months. In the event that any of them were still around when the snow hit, the locals would always complain about the "flat-landers" inability to drive in it. Nice Localism piece for your market :)
This snowbird phenomena is also what I hear so much from my Florida relatives and contacts this time of year Bob and Carolin.
Do you have Ann Murray blasting through the speakers at the airport? "Fly Away" always comes into my head when I hear about snowbirds.

I have friends leaving for the warmer weather. Today the highest the temoperature will get is in the low twenties I feel like leaving too...Lol
I will admit when I read this blog a thought a lot more about being a snowbird myself as I am bundled up in this 24 degree weather we are having.
Bob & Carolin, this sounds like an exciting time for business as well. I am sure there are a number of folks who are looking for upgrades and downgrades. We experience this phenomenon in the South as well over here in Alabama.
They're showing up here too! Let the games begin! :)
Ah, to be a snowbird. I've called Alaska home for almost 30 years and every year I swear it's going to be my last. :) We've been lucky this year so I can't complain too much. I'm thinking winters in the South Pacific sound pretty good.
H Bob & Carolin ~ Ah to be in the warmth of the sun! I love Arizona having actually seen many parts of the state! I can attest to it's beauty!
