Temperatures are rising and the "dog days of summer" are upon us. If you are around Gold Canyon Arizona this summer and love dogs and/or are looking for a bit of fun that will also help a good cause, then check out the Dog Days of Summer being celebrated by Gold Canyon Bank from June 16th through August 1st. Bring in your doggie and get a photo taken for the Doggie Star Gallery. There are daily doggie treats and there is drawing for a grand prize - a Pet "Goodie" Basket. The non-profit that benefits will be Gabriel's Angels. Gabriel's Angels is a Phoenix area non profit that delivers healing pet therapy to abused, neglected and at-risk children. Call 480-474-2005 for more details about this fun summer event and the non-profit that will receive benefit.

Bob & Carolin,
This upcoming event sounds like fun! Ah yes, I remember the hot summer days of summer in Arizona. I was born in Peoria, grew up in Glendale until I was 12 years old before moving to Orange County, CA. I know how hot it can get there. Too hot for me, though. A lot of my relatives still live in GGlendale and Phoenix. I have not been back for ten years now. It does get hot in Boise, although it cools down in the evening and we four seasons here. We are heading toward 95 today here in Boise. I hope your event turns out great!
Have a Colorful Day!
Bob & Carolin, This does sound like a wonderful event that helps pet lovers and children, I hope many people participate. And it sounds like a wonderful organization to reach out to less fortunate children. It MUST be hot there now, I had gone during the summer and it sizzled :)
What a good idea! We had "Bring Your Dog To Work Day" a couple of weeks back and it was a blast!
