I keep reading posts on AR and I think some agents compare their real estate careers lately to having the flu. The market has slowed down and we now have to work harder than ever to get the leads, build our sphere of influence and networking in our communities. All that stress..............
Our health and quality of life is something we must take care of. So where do we go from here? Take a vacation and relax. We can't operate at full throttle in our careers day after day without a break. When you do get away, leave your cell phone at home! We need to recharge so we can be at our peak for ourselves, our families and our clients. We need some balance and happiness in our lives and sometimes the best way to do that is by stepping back, go away for a week, a day or even a 30 minute walk at the park and recharge the batteries. We all have days when we feel like we can't make it through another day. Stress is a natural part of life, not just our careers in real estate. It is how we handle that stress that makes the difference.
We have to enjoy our lives in order to keep our sanity. So, I am leaving today for Hawaii. My lovely wife and I are going on a 10 day cruise around the islands. This will be our first trip to Hawaii and we are looking forward to the stress relief.
I hope you all can find the time for a getaway and recharge your batteries. I talk to you all in 10 days!

Nice post Brad. Have fun in Hawaii. I think I'll take a mini-vacation and play some golf.
You two enjoy yourselves! I would say give me a ring but it sounds like this is an intimate thing. Enjoy and relax!
I have only visited Hawaii once. It is a gorgeous place....I certainly hope to go back again soon. Enjoy your trip!
I will be going next month....haven't done the cruise, but will be going to a different Island than before :) :) By the time you read this, you will be gone....hope you have/had a great time :) :)
Better yet, move to Hawaii like I did! It's absolutely fabulous (coming from the perspective of a 27 year old married man with no kids)!!! The best decision my wife and I ever made was packing up our stuff in Idaho and making the jump to the Aloha state. Hope you have a relaxing and memorable cruise!
Have a great time! such a wonderful place to see! You are right about the fact we all need some down time!
