A three day off for a realtor - does it exist?
I swore it did, but when I was out in Casa Grande and Maricopa this weekend with the family going to some of our friends houses for BBQs, and just enjoying our wonderful relationships I actually saw open houses signs out. Now, mind you I am 100% in support of realtors doing open houses. However, come on on a three day weekend? Are these realtors hurting that bad they have to work on a three day weekend vs enjoying their family and relationships? I say if they are hurting this bad financially that they look into different careers. I know it is tough to say, but working for the man when you cannot make it on your own and get weekends off and holidays off is a better choice. I say this, because these realtors working when they should be off cannot be savings and enjoying their families.
I myself work 2 to 4 hours on Saturday mornings. Yes, I am guilty, but it is from 8 am to 10 am or from 8 am to 12, and then I am done until Monday. I do these days only for my clients who do not get days off during the week as I shut down my operations at 5 PM - meaning I am home at 5 pm checking out of my home office.
I ue to have a team and sadly make them work weekends, etc out of fear of failing, but I learned to just trust and all will work out. Since I have a new team and I am doing this with them they are doing record closings, and everybody is happy.
Well, off my box and back to the family, and today at Church was amazing. I love my Church :-)
