Your Computer Crashed! Your Laptop Was Stolen! No Problem!

Have you ever worried about your computer crashing and dying or your laptop being stolen?????

There is a service that won't stop that from happening, but if it does at least all of your data will be restorable!

Carbonite is Backup Made Simple a simple, safe online backup service for casual home PC users, students, home office users, road warriors, etc. For less than five dollars a month, Carbonite will backup all the data on your PC (digital photos, music, office documents, and other valuable data) whenever your PC is connected to the Internet.

Carbonite is very easy to setup and use, requiring little or no ongoing user involvement. The service is always on and continuously protecting data on your PC whenever it is connected to the Internet.

If you use this link to download you get a free 15-day trial subscription to Carbonite, and you get an extra free month of service when you buy ---- and I get a free month! So it is a win/win!

If you don't want to give me a free month then just go here......

I just installed it on my computer this week after our office was broken into twice in the last 3 months. When I bought my new Dell computer I added an external hard drive to back up my data in case my computer died, but if someone steals that too than I would be SOL!

I don't know about you, but if I lost all of my data I would be out of business! anf for only $50.00 per year it doesn't seem like I can afford not to use it.

This is great! Thanks for sharing. I also bought an extra hard drive but like you said if that was stolen then what?!

great idea.  I was willing to shell out a chunk of money to back up my Quicken files - why not do them all for about the same cost!

Thanks John,

We always say that it will never happen to us personally....but then when it does. Ouch! Thanks for the tip.

LaShon, Matthew & Claudia,

I am glad that you found the info useful.  It never hurts to be too safe!
