I'm trying out my new found graph talents and providing information to consumers about the Phoenix Valley real market. One large area is the Mesa, Arizona market. I am including all listings - townhomes, apartment homes, and family homes in this survey of available listings. I am including Sold as of January 1, 2008, Active, Pending and Active with Contingency as of today, March 8, 2008. I have been noticing that more and more homes are pending! I will do an analysis of our market - now - compared to that of this same time last year.
As I prepare these stats periodically, we'll be able to get more of an idea of what our market is doing. I simply do not listen to all of the woe be gones from the news media!! Homes ARE staying on the market longer. Homes ARE being sold for less. It currently IS a buyer's market - BUT - that doesn't necessarily mean it's a bad thing. NOW is a great time to purchase that home.

For all of you "reluctant" buyers, if your credit scores are good, if you have some down payment money, then NOW is a choice time to get out there and hunt for that perfect home. Give me a call, I'll be happy to help you find that home of your dreams.

Terri, absolutely terrific new logo and congratulations on promoting yourself. Which program did you use to do your graph?

Teri, what is AWC?
Lisa, active with a contingency. ;-) Could be the prospective buyer has a home to sell or the buyer's loan may not go through, or???
Learn something new every day here and I'm beginning to appreciate how different things are from state to state. Your clients are in good hands, Teri!
