Fire Restrictions, and a little rain, Payson, AZ

It's that time of year! The fire crews are setting up at the Payson airport in anticipation of another bad fire season!

This picture is from last summer, but their trailer is there again, We're renting to some of the Hot Shot crewmen. And today looks much like the picture, cloudy, cool, windy. We HAVE HAD a little rain, with cool temperatures. May we get more soon!

Payson had a wetter than usual late winter, and that set it up for a lot of growth which is now drying out. Couple that with warm, dry conditions...watch out! The Tonto National Forest has already put fire restrictions into effect- Here is the link for details.
