OK, I'm cheating just a little with this photo. The leaves aren't changing JUST YET in Payson. The photo is from another year. But the nights are getting cooler, and it won't be long!
If you live in the hot part of the state, come visit us in Northern Arizona. we're low 80s now in the day, low 50s at night. Beautiful weather!
And the leaves will be turning soon!

I love the photo! It's cool to see changing colors in AZ, especially since it's a desert climate. It does however make me miss the changing seasons in the Midwest and East coast. Oh well. It's getting colder in Eureka California too. It's a reminder for those of us who live in cooler climates at least to get our woodstoves/pellet stoves cleaned before winter comes.
Yes, it won't be long now...I love the winters here. It is cool, but not cold. I do miss the snow on Christmas day (I'm from the mid-west too), but the rest of the winter I love in Arizona.
Jessica- thanks fro stopping by. At 5,000 ft we have for seasons here- even a little snow.
Chastity- you can come up and enjoy our snow. we aren't all that far from you.
I have never been to Arizona. I did not realize that you had a fall season there. Fall is my favorite season here in CT. Thanks for the post.
Hi Marlene. A lot of people don't realize that AZ isn't all desert. We have pine trees and mountains where I live. We have a cold winter, and even a few snows. Thanks for stopping by.
Leslie... Payson was so beautiful, we were there last weekend. You could smell and feel FALL is in the air. :) Talk about refreshing!

Hi, Cheron. You're right, Payson is absolutely beautiful right now.
