Of course, since our Valley of the Sun is legendary for its golf courses, I must include a brief description of the homes and condominiums surrounding The Legacy Golf Resort in the South Mountain area of Phoenix. The community spans from 24th Street to 32nd Street, just north of Baseline Road. There are three separate communities within the golf resort boundaries, Fairways at the Legacy, Cachet at the Legacy Condominiums, and Encanto at the Legacy. The Fairways at the Legacy was built by Engle Homes from 1999 to 2001. The condominiums were built by Cachet Homes from 2000 to 2004. And the Encanto at the Legacy homes were built by Centex in 1999 and 2000.
A really nice perk for this community is that since this is a golf resort, there are guest suites available. So, if you have guests coming in from out of town, they can book a room on the resort side of the community and not have to drive all over town. Of course, there is also golfing, the convenience of being close to all the popular Phoenix venues. Like most of the South Mountain Village, the public school districts are Roosevelt School District and the Phoenix Union High School District.
