There are many areas of Phoenix where people look for the Best Mountain View Homes. The obvious place to start is the area around Camelback Mountain. This landmark dominates the scenery around central Phoenix.

Then you could look in the Mummy Mountain area. Certainly both of these areas provide great views and wonderful scenery. However, I have found an area in Phoenix that not only has the very Best Mountain View Homes but also the most affordable. The hidden gem of a neighborhood is the Lookout Mountain area in north central Phoenix. Most of the homes in this area have some of the most spectacular views found anywhere in the Phoenix metro. As you go higher on Lookout mountain you realize that you can see for miles and in all directions.

This neighborhood has more than just great scenery to offer the homeowners there. This area is adjacent to part of the Phoenix Mountain preserve. This provides residents the opportunity to use the Lookout Mountain hiking trails and Lookout Mountain park for a wide variety of outdoor activities.

The homes are well kept and most of them are 1500 to 3500 square feet. The real surprise are the prices. You can get a 3 bedroom home with a bonafide million dollar view for under $300,000. Many of the homes in the lower elevations are under $200,000.

This area is convenient to downtown and has easy freeway access. You will also find schools and shopping right down the street. I was totally surprised by what this area has to offer.
