I was featured on REALTOR.com® again - they posted a blog I wrote called "Case-Shiller Numbers on Home Prices Remain Encouraging." Go read the full post, but the gist was this:
According to the Case-Shiller numbers, home prices fell a very small amount - 0.2 percent - in August. This is the first drop in the index after four straight monthly gains. Much of the monthly gains have been attributed to an increased demand created by the homebuyer tax credit that expired at the end of April 2010. Therefore, a very modest drop (from inflated numbers) is good news in that this is showing even more stabilization in the national real estate market.
