Stuff to Do in Arizona!! My Photos of our day at the Botanical Gardens in Phoenix, and the Butterfly Exhibit as Promised! I REACHED 100,000 POINTS! YES!!!

I wanted to share something special for my 100,000 points day! Last night I noticed that I was nearing 100,000 points, and then today, voila, there it was - over 100,000! It can be done before you even notice it is happening. I think this will be my 157th post, I've made over 3,319 comments, received 2,678 comments, and have been posting fairly regularly for a year on April 11th. I had posted a few here and there and joined in July 2006, but didn't really jump in the water Diving in head firstuntil a year ago, and I went head first.

Wow!! Where did the time go? AND may I tell you how much I've learned? I'll have to do a part two of my post Rain-Tips-and-Pieces which was featured recently since I've learned so much more since I originally shared that post.

I recently presented a post sharing my experience at the beautiful Botanical Gardens in Phoenix at the corner of, Tempe and Scottsdale with the promise to share the photos. This presentation is of the Butterfly gardens and exhibit only.

If ONLY I would have had the Flip Video while I was touring the butterfly exhibit!!! ;-) The butterflies were amazing, and it was so cool seeing sobutterfly many of them. Short story, I had set my photos up, prepared the slideshow, but only part of them loaded up - I even identified the butterflies! ;-) Seriously! SO, I decided I would take advantage of the slideshow availability on Picasa - which I've had forever and is free - and share all of them with you. Be prepared, there are quite a few of them, but hopefully you'll be able to see how beautiful this particular part of Arizona is. We have so many things to see and do, and I'm looking forward to sharing them on my FLIP very soon.

I hope you enjoy the photos......

Teri, Congratulations on 100,000 points and you are so right about the Botanical Gardens and the Butterflies!  I've taken my nieces to see them several times.  I am really looking forward to meeting you next week!

Teri, congratulations on all your hard work. This would be a great entry in Sally and Jo-Annes Spring contest.

Teri congratulations on your new milestone. I am sure there will be many more to come!

Congratulations, Teri!!!  You have earned every one of those points with some great posts - I'm so glad I got to "meet" you here in the Rain - I know it makes me smile to see your signature in a comment :)

Isn't it nice when you go to bed and then wake up to a nice surprise!  Nice photos!

Doreen, thank you, and I, too, look forward to meeting you at our Networking Event! ;-)

Missy, I just sent this over to Sally's group. Thanks for the head's up, though I rarely - if ever - enter a contest. ;-) No time!!!

Bill, thank you so much.....it happened before I knew it. ;-)

Lisa, why thank you so much. I'm glad my little lady and my signature bring a smile. I like that! ;-)

TERI, I was writing your comment and my computer knocked me off of the comment which is not unusual with this new laptop I have but when i came back on the slide show was working.  When I was on the first time it was just a sliver of a slide show.  I'm not sure why that would happen.

Congrats on 100,000 points.  It looks like I made it through this time without being kicked off.

Marchel, I saw that the slideshow was weird too...don't know why exactly. Thanks for coming by though - twice!

Congrats!  Is the butterfly exhibit going on all year?

Georgina, no - only through the middle of May!!! Thanks. ;-)

( 04/19/08 11:27PM ) — Stephanie Heron-Weeber - Dressing Rooms

Hi Teri - I took my mother to the butterfly exhibit a couple of years ago - I remember she was wearing a dress with a floral print and the butterflies loved it! It is well worth the trip - thanks for reminding me.

Stephanie

Stephanie (my daughter's name) - how neat! A floral dress would probably really catch the butterfly's eye!! Glad you enjoyed the memory.;-)
