Reverse Prospecting-

The market is starting to feel like there is some activity. So I have been looking into ways to get in front of potential buyers. There is the SOI ( Sphere of influence ), Print advertising, Radio? and internet. More and more buyers seem to be more knowledgable and are willing to do their own searches before they ever even call a Realtor . As Realtors we have ways that can help these potential bjuyers find their own property or at least have some assistance. They are called listing carts, Market ticker notification.

I for one really like this venue as it gives the buyer freedom from the constant "Hey I have a home for you calls". They can have their search critietia of property emailed directly from the MLS. When they see something that they like they can make the contact to the Realtor. This saves a lot of time and effort for both parties. The Realtor and the buyer can talk when there is a real interest.

Now whaty is the best way to get this no pressure MLS search for the buyers. How do Realtors get buyers to start the process. Run an ad in the paper? Flyer in the mail? Radio?
