Did you know that in certain agricultural areas along the Colorado River, because of their proximity to water, the water table being so high and the frequent irrigation of nearby crops (mostly alfalfa and cotton), the temperatures in some of our areas are up to 10-15 degrees cooler than others?

This is one of those areas.

Willow Valley Estates is a popular river access/private marina subdivision in Mohave Valley, AZ for the same reason. It's cooler, it's right along a beautiful private marina on the Colorado River, and because it is bordered by Fort Mohave Indian Reservation land, which is used for agricultural purposes, its outskirts are irrigated continually. Sort of like a huge evaporative cooler!

So yeah . . . you CAN come on down to the beautiful Colorado River, soak up sun AND stay COOL while you're doing it!
