Brad I always enjoy reading your post. You articulate the way I run my business. To me its just common sense. Lets face it it's not rocket science.
Joint Toastmasters! Seriously, folks that need to work on many of your essential elements can gain great training and practice through Toastmasters. It helps to communicate effectively, influence people, build trust, demonstrate people skills, think before you speak and express your thoughts and feelings clearly. Great blog!
Brad, so very true. I used to have a loan officer across the hall from me who would bad mouth and yell before, during, and after every phone call. I never saw anyone in his office, I wonder why. People skills are so very important. I also think that they are needed to help set us apart from everyone else so we can stand just a little bit taller.
I can't see how anyone without good "people skills" could possibly last in this business- or why they would want to.
NOW -- "That was easy"...... I actually own one of those buttons personally, I keep it on my desk but really need it at home for my teenage daugther. I love it and even as simple as the phrase that it projects when punched makes perfect sense with this great post. Good stuff. I am adding you to my growing list of friends to catch up on reading their posts. I think I would be very interested in what you are posting. Thanks from another Arizonian
Great reminder!
As Brian Buffini says, real estate is a contact sport! Good post!
