Extraordinary Salesperson Appraiser !!

We had a very interesting meeting yesterday with an appraiser at our bi-monthly sale meeting.

Apart from being as good as any TV sales person, and keeping us tied to our seats, the information that he gave us was very informative on our market, and reaffirmed what we have all been experiencing here in the Tucson market. Our local media however chooses to only put gloom and doom in the newspaper which I am sure that you are all experiencing all over the US.

The average sales price of a home in Tucson went up around 2.2 % in the third quarter overall of 2007.

We have been predicting that the Tucson market had stabilized, and it appears to have done so.

There are some niche areas that have experienced more of a downturn than others. A few large subdivision neighborhoods in the Southeast and the Northwest have both seen some depriciation, and some of this had to do with investor buying, and also bad mortgage products.tt seems that amount of homes in the market has reduced overall, and that Buyers are back out! We have noticed that traffic through open houses has increased over the last few weeks. So now if you can all sell the houses elswhere in the Northeast, and on the West coast, we would all be back on track!!

As an aside, I wish I could here the Appraiser to go on those difficult Listing Appointments and also to sell some Laundry Detergent!!!!!!!
