Many people ask me if they should keep thier home on the market during the Holiday Season and my response is yes in our marketplace. I personally think that it depends on your location, and whether you are in a warmer climate.
Tucson will get many visitors over the Thanksgiving weekend as we tend to have a warmer climate, although this year who knows!
The Thanksgiving weekend has always been a busy time for us with our own family visiting and also with Buyers looking to see homes for sale, and Seller Open Houses.
For those of you wanting a Holiday weeknd off, we wich you a very Happy Thanksgiving break!

I love the real estate market during the holidays! The sellers who are out there really NEED to sell and the buyers reall WANT to buy! I tell my seller clients that the showings may be scarce, but the quality and drive of the buyer will be great! Also, agents are busy with holiday happenings too - they're much less likely to drive around a look-e-loo to see houses.
I tell my Sellers to keep their homes on the market. Here in Orlando we get lots of visitors during the Holidays and some are potential Buyers. It doesn't make sense to take them off just for a month or so and relist in January.
It's always nice to get a home for Christmas!!! Always keep the home on. You and I never know what will happen.
