Tips to Sell your home faster....put away your bathroom clutter
Staging your home for sale will help your home sell for more money in a faster time frame.
However, there are OTHER reasons that you should put away your bathroom and house clutter.....health conscience reasons.
I recently read an article entitled the 16 worst places to stash your stuff and was mortified with some of the gross things that you can get from putting your toothbrush in a toothbrush holder, handbag on the kitchen on the counter-top, and fruit in the sink amongst others.
I would encourage people to read it.

When your flush the commode, apparently aerosolized toilet funk is propelled as far as 6 feet, onto the Countertops and onto the floor and settles on your tooth brush according to a recent University of Arizona Study.
So, instead of resisting your listing agent when they say declutter your bathrooms, put away those toothbrushes so that you can stay healthy!!!

That article was definitely interesting and useful info, thanks for sharing it Anne and Eddie!
Hi Jim and Maria,
It is a little freaky..but read the other 15 !!!!
It should get your sellers to declutter their bathrooms

I heard that article a few years ago & almost ralphed. Needless to say, nothing has now been out in my bathroom since then. Here I thought you were going to tell everyone to get all their tubs of Crest, Brylcreem, Preperation H, 4-5 curling irons and other fun stuff OFF the counter for staging. Here's another reason to get rid of the crap in the crapper. I crack myself up!
Hi Diane put all your stuff away!
Hi Lyn,
Wish they could come out with an article for Preparation H but I guess the flush germs don't matter!!!
This is one more reason why toilet lids should always be kept DOWN! Close the lid before you flush, and all those germs are more likely to stay inside.
A home shows better when all the toilet lids are down as well - nobody wants to peer into an ucky toilet bowl when they're looking at homes.
