Oh .... and another thing.... :-)
Looks like you have quite a task list ahead of you! OK - I'll help - when don't I?
Can I introduce you two to each other? :D
Fine post, and thanks for an easy to read list of steps.
Tony, thanks for the "navagation tips" for launching a blogsite... I had no idea - Bookmarked! : )
Tony you are amazing. You must have been a military officer when you were younger.
Mike - thanks for the comment!
Randy - Nope - never in the military - don't know if that would have been a good fit for me - unless I was in charge - and I don't think you get to start out that way!
Deborah - Happy to hear you found it useful!
You make some good points here. Bloggers need to do more than just write articles to be successful. Commenting on other blogs, submitting to other social network, directories, etc is vital to actually generating traffic to read your content.
Matt - Thanks for stopping by and for the validation!
Tony, thanks for the tips. I'll add them to my collection of things to do.
9. Start commenting on local blogs
This gains you instant credibility (unless you're a whacko). I have found that by commenting on other's blogs, they come read mine.
OK I'll jump in here and show my stupidity. How do you find other "related" blog sites? Is it as easy as typing in blogs in the search bar?
Roberta - Not sure what you mean by "related"....can you expand on that? Tony
"Related" as in professionally. I know there are all kinds of blogs. I don't want to just waste my time, but would like to investigate other industry related blog sites.
Roberta - If you google "real estate blog sites" the results will be what you're looking for. Tony
Thank you Tony. That's a dah for me isn't it. I don't know why I didn't think of that. :/ I tried to google blogs and got so much garbage that I gave up. Thank you Tony you are a saint. :)
Tony, I'm in the process of launching my own outside blog and found this very helpful. Thanks! I'm bookmarking this one. Actually, I need to come back and go through your archives. You've got some great stuff here.
Roberta - No problem - I have "can't see the forest for the trees" moments too! :-)
Maggie - Thanks!
Tony
At my age it's called CRSD! :)
Rony, Rocks.......Rogsites are Grrrreattt!!
Thanks again!!

Tony ~ Ran across this post when searching for something else. Thanks for the tips- I appreciate your sharing, there were one or two that specifically got me thinking on ideas. Cheers in '08!
