Flip Video Interview! All About Bread! And Two Sisters!

When I first purchased my Flip Video - because of all of the posts from Brad Andersohn on Active Rain - I decided to "experiment" a little before I went "live."

Some of you know that I make my own bread - wheat bread - I grind the wheat and everything.

One of my sisters comes over regularly to pick up her loaf. Just so happens she came by when I was in the "mood," to try out my Flip. I did this in two parts...but both are fun and short. Notice that I can't figure out how to turn off the video on the first one - which is funny 'cause I'm looking for my glasses to see how to turn it off. ;-)

Anyway, I hope this will motivate a few more of you holding back 'cause it really is easy. Just have to jump in - that's all.

One thing for sure? I'm glad it's HER mug in the camera....;-) I'll have to wait for a GOOD day before I show mine. ;-)

If I'm posting this to any of the "wrong" groups, please feel free to delete. Not a problem. :-)

Teri That was great, you made me laugh!! Would love to taste that bread of yours! My mother in law makes her own bread to and its out of this world, can aways know when you walk in the house and it smells like bread!

Hi Teri,

I will be waiting to see an instructional video on making the bread.  I have made bread from scratch before, but can't say that I have much experience doing it.

Teri, good job. I just got a Flip this week too and haven't practiced with it yet. Can't wait to start.

I loved the videos!  You two are a riot and I cracked up right along WITH you lol!

Makes me "Wonder" about Brad Bread! lol  Very cute and fun, did you find your glasses?  Your sister seems like almost as much fun as you!!  :-) Thanks for sharing Teri...

Jeannette, I love it when people laugh, 'cause I like to laugh and do get a chuckle out of my sister. As for the bread? Anytime...come on by. Nothing as good as hot homemade bread. ;-)

Marzena, I doubt THAT will happen...that would be funny though. I could have my sister hold the video as I made the bread. Just maybe....maybeee............we'll just have to see. ;-)

Connie, it is a great tool...and easy to use. Enjoy, and be sure to share. ;-)

Sally, I KNEW you would like this. It was completely just "us," no planned words, nothing. BUT she makes me laugh...as you could tell. ;-)

Brad, my sweet.....good to see you. I'm glad you enjoyed it....you're the one that got me to do this you know. This video was taken right around the time we visited on the phone -  In April...just got around to figuring out what/how to do with it.  ;-)

Teri - Good for you and thanks for sharing your latest accomplishment. It's always fun to learn something new - especially when you're with someone you can share a good laugh with.

Teri, well I want some of that bread, now. Your sister was a good sport and very brave!

Teri~ you make me want to run right out and get a FLIP camera and learn how to bake bread too!

Teri: What do you like about my bread? Sister: It's free!

You two are a trip. Great video! I make bread sometimes, too. But I don't grind my own wheat like you. Of course, I use a breadmaker most of the time; however, there is nothing quite so satisfying nor so contemplative as kneeding your own dough. It takes away stress, too!

Teri,

How can I get some of that delicious free bread?!  So funny!

Mike in Tucson

Lynn, we are very close....she didn't mind at all, and it turned out to be a lot of fun. ;-)

Gena, you're welcome to a loaf. When I see you, I'll bring you one. My sister is a bigger ham than I am. ;-) Little did she know that I would share this with all of my "friends." ;-)

Lisa, both are a good idea. ;-)

Elizabeth, I use a Bosch, which kneads all by itself. I dump all of the ingredients into the bowl and knead for 8 minutes, turn out onto my countertops, separate into loaves, dump in pan, let rise for 35 minutes, and pop them in the oven. I have kneaded my own, but this way is best - especially for 100% whole wheat. ;-)

Mike, glad you enjoyed it. Not eveyone is as quirky as my sister and I am...I just get such a chuckle out of her. ;-)

Okay--first of all....your sister is a real sport!!!!  Second, I WISH I lived close enough to come by and pick  up FRESH bread! Third, this vidoe should go on YouTube.  I especially enjoyed the ending when you didn't know it was still on and needed to find your glasses before you could turn it off.  LOL

Good one, Teri.

So you're blaming it all on me eh? lol~  You are too cute!  I remember the "Lady in red" before her famous signature ever use to appear!  I use your "Lady" now all the time for tracking where I'm at in my posts.  You see, I have come to count on your comments, I get lost without them!  (Huge Smile) :-)))  Can't wait to see more of what you plan to do with that video camera. Have a great 4th!

Kat, my sister enjoyed every second. We play off of each other pretty well after all of these years. ;-)  It did take me awhile to figure out how to turn it off. Thanks for coming by. ;-)  This video is on You Tube...that is where I put it first to upload it here. Thanks. ;-)

Brad, where do you think I learn all of the cool stuff. I use my little lady in red to mark my last comments as well. I LOVE reading your posts. Saw the one about your wife..and her birthday. Very cool Brad, very cool. ;-)

Have a wonderful 4th of July!

Teri, I loved the fresh natual interplay between you and your sister.  You will be a hit when you step up to the camera. AJ

Teri, great job on using your flip. Sounds great.

AJ, why thank you. That is definitely the way we always are. Just happened to have fun with the flip on this one. ;-)

Missy, thank you......it turned out pretty well after all. ;-)

Teri, that was really funny! I had your videos with my coffee this morning! My first subject was my dog Chanel that I posted. She was kinda of bored with the idea. At least you got your sister to talk! I need to talk with you about my plan to visit AZ. I need your ideas.

Hi Teri...looks like you are having fun with your new Video Camera...you're away ahead of me, I see you have even posted your first video's on You Tube...You're Hot, Now to just figure out How to Make Money Selling Real Estate with this new fangled Video Camera...Right?

Cheers, have a Great day !

How fun!  What is really great about AR is watching all of us trying out videos with all the bloopers.  It makes sure we don't take ourselved too seriously but also encourages us to try something new!

*sigh*  I keep trying to use mine and I just can't get comfy with it.............   I guess having fun is the key... now I wanna see YOU in front of it

Lizette, my sister is the funny one...really. I just laugh at her...she is so quick witted. Give me a call when you want to come to our beautiful State...anytime. ;-)

Fred, I am enjoying it. I've already videotaped two of my listings, one of which I've displayed on my blog about a week ago. Check it out and let me know what you think. ;-)

Diane, it WAS fun....now my sister is famous. Or should I say "infamous?"

Desiree, just go for it. This video was a "go for it" experiment. It turned out fun, and you could see my blunders - like not being able to figure out how to turn it off. ;-)  See me? Well, what I'll do is have my sister interview ME when I'm making bread, how's that? :-)
