You may have heard Prescott referred to as 'Arizona's Christmas City' and, believe it or not, the holidays are soon upon us! There are lots of fun holiday activities here. The most popular events every year are the Parade and the Courthouse Lighting, which always occur on the first Saturday of December - that is December 6th this year. Another of the more popular events is the 'Acker Musical Showcase.' That night the shops around the Courthouse Square stay open and present live music and/or treats, such as cookies and hot apple cider. That is Friday, December 12 this year. This is a great time to visit Prescott! Do remember to call ahead for lodging if you plan to spend the night - especially around December 6.
